Runners were treated to coastal scenes with sandy shorelines and weaving paths, including a foot ferry crossing at Bawdsey in between!
Solo runners and teams of 2 or 4 entered, setting-off between 06.00 - 07.00 from South Pier Lowestoft in the north of Suffolk, and finishing at the new Felixstowe Pier in the south.
Aid stations, with cake and drink for participants, were based at Southwold, Thorpeness and Butley - creating 4 fantastic sections in between!
Cyclists rode through Suffolk's areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, packed full with wildlife and tranquil and unspoiled landscape including wildlife-rich estuaries, ancient heaths, windswept beaches, and historic towns and villages.
Setting-off between 8.00 - 9.00am from South Pier, Lowestoft and finishing at the new Felixstowe Pier, cyclists were able to stop-off at Butley aid station in-between - with cake and drink available for participants!
