ROC CHALLENGE at Foxhall Stadium took place in Ipswich on 9th November 2019, with four unique off-road challenges for runners and riders:
ONE LAP RUN
KESGRAVE KRUISERS FUN RUN
The CYCLE SPORTIVE was an off-road challenge suitable for multiple cycling disciplines including gravel, mountain bike and cyclo-cross, where riders were challenged to complete an ultra-marathon distance of 28 miles over a 3.5km mixed-terrain course. The RUNNIING TIME-TRIAL challenge was run over a 3.5km course of gravel, grass, woodland and the legendary Foxhall motor-racing track. Solo runners, pairs or teams of up to 5 were challenged to complete an ultra-marathon distance of approx 28 miles as quickly as possible (13 laps of the course).
The ONE LAP RUN was for participants aged 18 or over who wanted to be a part of ROC CHALLENGE on a smaller scale by completing just one 3.5km course lap.
The KESGRAVE KRUISERS FUN RUN was a special event for juniors and youths aged 17 or under that covered approx 1 mile of the RUNNING TIME TRIAL course, including the famous Foxhall race track.
Soft tissue therapy and massage services were available throughout the day from Bridget Read and Sarah Maidment and complimentary mechanical repairs provided to cycling participants thanks to Spokeworx Cycle Shop.
